SCOPE

The Technical Support Services Team (TSS) is contracted to fulfil Government’s obligations of mainstreaming and institutionalizing the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) within the Northern Cape Province. Specifically, the TSS team is duty-bound to provide Municipalities and Provincial Departments (Public Bodies) with the necessary technical support to successfully implement EPWP Phase 3.
Technical Support Services plan is a dedicated effort to build a purposefully and mutually reinforcing working relationship through continuous tracking, monitoring and verification of projects as well as rendering Technical Support to all Public Bodies, measured against a (Policy adoption, Institutionalisation, Strategic Plans, and Budget), Data Collection, capturing (EPWP Reporting System), Analysis and Management, Sector participation, the use of LIC methods regarding the Design and Implementation, tender standardization, project site compliance, Incentive Grant Expenditure reports per signed agreements etc. In 2019/20 financial year, the team reached above 100% of the overall work opportunity target.
